The 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup women's football tournament is the third such tournament, and will be held in Azerbaijan from 22 September to 13 October, following a decision by the Executive Committee on the 19th March 2010. 15 qualified countries representing 5 continents as well as the host country Azerbaijan wll play at stadiums in Baku, Lankaran and Mardakan.

The official mascot is a young girl with the national flag painted on her cheeks. Its body is blue, red, green and white kit like the host's national team and her brown hair in a ponytail designed to resemble what is known as a buta, a curving decorative motif widely used in Azerbaijani art.

Hər bir FIFA çempionatı kimi, Azərbaycanda keçiriləcək FIFA U-17 qadınlararası dünya çempionatını da könüllülərin iştirakı olmadan təşkil etmək mümkünsüzdür. Onların məqsədyönlülüyü, yardımsevərliyi və dostcanlılığı dünyanın dörd bir tərəfindən gəlmiş azarkeşlərin yaddaşına müsbət və unudulmaz xatirələr həkk edəcək və çempionatı daha da rəngləndirəcək. Planlara əsasən, çempionata yerli və xarici olmaqla 1000-ə yaxın könüllünün cəlb edilməsi nəzərdə tutulub. Könüllülər yalnız oyun günləri dəstək üçün yox, həmçinin stadionda və onun ətrafında hərarətli bir dostluq mühiti yaratmaq üçün Yerli Təşkilat Komitəsinə köməklik göstərə bilərlər.

Qeyd edək ki, könüllülük proqramının bir sıra özəllikləri vardır. Belə ki, könüllülər komandası yaş, din, cins və milli mənsubiyyətə fərq qoymadan formalaşdırılacaqdır. Beynəlxalq könüllülər komandasına üzv olmaq üçün 18 yaşın tamam olması, Azərbaycan və ingilis dili bacarığının olması ilkin şərtlərdəndir.

Hər bir könüllü bir neçə üstünlüklərə sahib olacaq:

- Könüllülər üçün xüsusi hazırlanmış uniforma

- Xidmət günlərində qida və içkilər

- FIFA və Yerli Təşkilat Komitəsi tərəfindən təşkil ediləcək peşəkar təlimlər

- Xidmət günlərində ictimai nəqliyyatdan ödənişsiz istifadə

- FIFA U-17 qadınlararası dünya çempionatı Azərbaycan 2012-nin beynəlxalq könüllülük sertifikatı

- Könüllülər üçün təşkil edilmiş müxtəlif tədbirlərdə iştirak

- Könüllü komandası ilə birlikdə ölkədaxili səfərlər və könüllülər üçün xüsusi hazırlanmış digər əyləncəli tədbirlərdə iştirak

Сегодня в Лянкяране перед матчем чемпионата Азербайджана «Хазар-Лянкяран» - АЗАЛ был официально объявлен слоган чемпионата мира-2012 среди девушек, который пройдет в нашей стране этой осенью.

Как сообщает 1news.az со ссылкой на сайт АФФА, девизом всего чемпионата станет фраза «11 сердец, одно желание!» («On bir urək, bir istək»!).

Напомним, что логотип и талисман ЧМ-2012 были представлены в Баку соответственно 6 июня и 7 октября 2011 года. На этот раз было принято решение провести мероприятие в Лянкяране, где также пройдут матчи чемпионата.

Определились еще три сборные, которые выступят на футбольном ЧМ-2012 в Азербайджане

Как сообщает 1news.az, это команды Бразилии, Уругвая и Ганы. Бразилия и Уругвай обеспечили себе путевки на мундиаль за тур до окончания чемпионата Южной Америки, который является отборочным к чемпионату мира. Эти команды набрали по 6 очков и 25 марта разыграют в очной встрече чемпионский титул. За последнюю путевку на ЧМ-2012 поборются Колумбия и Аргентина, у которых после двух туров очков нет.

Ну а в Африке определился один из трех участников первенства планеты. Сборная Ганы, обыграв в ответной игре команду ЮАР со счетом 5:1, завоевала билет в Азербайджан. Первый матч, проходивший в Южной Африке, завершился нулевой ничьей. Еще две путевки будут разыграны в парах Замбия – Нигерия и Гамбия – Тунис.

Таким образом, уже известны 7 из 16-ти участников финального турнира. Помимо вышеперечисленных сборных, это – сборная Азербайджана, а также три представителя Азии – Китай, Северная Корея и Япония.

Отборочные соревнования в Европе, в зоне КОНКАКАФ и в Океании пройдут позже.

Определился десятый участник чемпионата мира по футболу-2012 среди женских юношеских (U-17) сборных, который пройдет в Азербайджане с 22 сентября по 13 октября.

Как сообщает 1news.az, им стала сборная Гамбии, которая дважды обыграла Тунис – 1:0, 2:1. Таким образом, уже известны все три представителя от Африки: ранее путевки в Азербайджан завоевали Гана и Нигерия.

International superstar Jennifer Lopez will be the main attraction at the opening ceremony of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Azerbaijan 2012.

It was confirmed on 13 April that the entertainer, from New York, will be the star of the show at the tournament’s curtain-raising event at the Tofig-Bahramov stadium in Baku on 22 September.

The performance will be J-Lo’s first in Azerbaijan. The singer, dancer and actress, who has Puerto Rican roots, is an extremely well-known figure around the world.

Hit singles like All I Have, Let’s Get Loud and Jenny from the Block have all helped to transform Lopez, 42, into a global star.

Как сообщает Sport.1news.az со ссылкой на сайт АФФА, Рианна споет 5 октября, когда на Республиканском стадионе имени Тофика Бахрамова будет проходить четвертьфинальный матч чемпионата.

В свою очередь Шакира выступит 13 октября, когда на этой же арене состоится финал и церемония закрытия.

Отмечается, что организацией выступления звезд мировой эстрады занимался Местный Оргкомитет ЧМ-2012.

Püşkatma mərasimində Asiyadan Çin, Şimali Koreya və Yaponiya, Okeaniyadan Yeni Zelandiya, Afrikadan Nigeriya, Qana və Qambiya, Şimali Amerikadan Amerika Birləşmiş Ştatları, Kanada və Meksika, Cənubi Amerikadan Braziliya, Kolumbiya və Uruqvay komandaları iştirak edəcək. Azərbaycan yığması dünya çempionatına ev sahibi statusu ilə birbaşa vəsiqə qazanıb. Avropada digər iki vəsiqənin sahibi 26-29 iyun tarixlərində keçiriləcək oyunların nəticələri əsasında müəyyənləşəcək.
Tədbirə Azərbaycanın tanınmış futbol veteranları ilə yanaşı aşağıdakı xarici qonaqların da gəlişi təsdiqlənib:

Сегодня в международном Центре Мугама прошла жеребьевка финальной части чемпионата мира-2012 по футболу среди девочек (U-17) в Азербайджане. Как передает azerisport.com, шестнадцать команд были распределены на четыре группы.

Как сообщает Sport.1news.az, 27-й матч чемпионата перенесен с Республиканского стадиона имени Тофика Бахрамова на стадион на 8-м километре.

Выступление известной певицы Рианны на стадионе в этот день отложено. В то же время остается в силе ее выступление в Baku Crystall Hall на следующий день, отмечают в АФФА. В ассоциации сообщают, что те, кто купил билеты на данный четвертьфинал, могут сдать билеты в административном здании АФФА и получить назад свои деньги.

Как сообщает Sport.1news.az со ссылкой на сайт АФФА, первой сошедшей с трапа самолета оказалась сборная Канады. Среди встречавших представителей Страны Кленового Листа был и официальный маскот мундиаля Топ Топ Гыз, который вручил цветы всем прибывшим, сфотографировался с ними, после чего гости отбыли в отель. Наставник сборной Азербайджана по футболу среди девушек (U-17) Сильвия (Сисси) Райт прокомментировала свою работу в нашей стране за прошедшие почти 2,5 года.

«На самом деле для меня все начиналось с нуля, так как здесь не было ни лиг, ни игроков, - передает Sport.1news.az слова немецкой специалистки со ссылкой на сайт ФИФА. – Девочки не имели понятия о футболе. Они могли видеть футбол по телевидению, но никогда сами не играли. Мы начали путешествовать по стране в поиске талантливых девушек, была проделана огромная работа, в том числе и с родителями, которые позволили играть своим детям.

Помимо таланта нам требовалось, чтобы девушки подходили по физическим данным. На первые сборы были приглашены 50 девушек, из которых отобрались 34. После 2-х лет работы в сборной образовался костяк команды. Теперь мы принимаем чемпионат мира, и будем бороться с 15 лучшими командами планеты. Если мы хотим выиграть 22 сентября (против Колумбии), то нам всем надо собраться вместе и действовать как одна команда, имея большую поддержку зрителей. Конечно, потребуется везение, чтобы добиться успеха также в играх с Канадой и Нигерией. Физически соперники посильнее и будет трудно конкурировать с ними. Но чудеса происходят в футболе. Нам придется подождать и посмотреть».

"It's going to be a three-week party – a party on a scale possibly never seen before at a U-17 World Cup!" Judging by the sheer enthusiasm of the host nation's German coach Sissy Raith, the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Azerbaijan 2012 is shaping up to be an unmissable event. It certainly has a lot to live up to after the success of the two most recent editions, but the sparkling line-up for this year's tournament – due to unfold between 22 September and 13 October – suggests that it could indeed be set to reach new heights.

With Germany, USA, Japan, Korea DPR, Brazil and Nigeria among the sides in contention, the most formidable powers in women's football will be taking part – and competing for the ultimate prize. The tournament will hardly be short of burgeoning talents either, and fans can look forward to witnessing the likes of exciting Japanese midfielder Yui Narumiya, German forward Sara Dabritz and Brazilian schemer Andressa up close. Fearsome goal machines such as Summer Green of the United States, Uruguay's Yamila Badell and Korea DPR's Ri Un-Sim will likewise be aiming to set the competition alight.

As it happens, the only major absentee in Azerbaijan will be Korea Republic, the reigning champions having only managed to finish fourth in their Asian qualifying campaign. The Taeguk Ladies will therefore be unable to defend their title, increasing the chances of a new name on the trophy. Their North Korean neighbours are the only previous winners in the field, in fact, having claimed victory at the inaugural edition in New Zealand four years ago.

Asian domination
As those previous tournaments suggest, Asian sides have held a stranglehold on the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup so far. That was amply demonstrated at Trinidad & Tobago 2010, when all three contenders from the Far East won their way through to the semi-finals, prompting FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter to hail the strength of women's football in the region. "It's good news for Asia, but frankly it's not a surprise," he said at the time. "When FIFA began taking an interest in women's football in the 1980s, the countries in Eastern Asia were already pioneers in the discipline. Women's football has deep roots in the region."

This time around, it will be Japan, Korea DPR and China PR looking to continue the tradition, and all three figure among the favourites. As Asian champions, the Young Nadeshiko can be particularly ambitious as they tackle their third finals campaign, but the team's coach Hiroshi Yoshida is urging caution all the same. "We're just hoping for six matches and to reach the final," he said. "Our goal is to win, but in this type of competition – especially the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup – you can't predict anything."

The United States and Germany are likely to mount serious challenges as well, with both nations having reached the final of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Japan 2012 just over a week ago, the Stars and Stripes ultimately emerging victorious. They will go into the tournament desperate to make an impression after failing to qualify two years ago, while Anouschka Bernhard's Germany team have a disappointment of their own to put behind them. The European heavyweights rattled in no fewer than 22 goals during the group stage two years ago, only to suffer a 1-0 loss to Korea DPR in the quarter-finals.

Baptism of fire
Among the other hopefuls on show, Brazil will be serious contenders with their alluring Jogo Bonito, as will a France side spurred on by gifted playmaker Sandie Toletti. Nigeria will also be keen to have their say and boast a squad featuring five players (Sarah Nnodim, Victoria Aidelomon, Oluchi Ofoegbu, Halimatu Ayinde and Ebere Okoye) who were also involved two years ago. Meanwhile, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, New Zealand and Ghana all have previous experience of the tournament and will be aiming to reach the semi-finals for the first time. In particular, Ghana will be bolstered by the presence of defender Ellen Coleman, a veritable veteran at this level who will be making her third trip to a FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

For their part, newcomers Gambia, Uruguay, China PR and hosts Azerbaijan will be focused on gaining experience in Odlar Yurdu (the Land of Fire) and springing a few upsets. "We'll need a small miracle to come out on top, but in football there are always miracles," explained the home side's coach, Raith. "We'll see what happens."

There promises to be goals, entertainment and excitement aplenty at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Azerbaijan 2012, as the brightest young stars in the women’s game get set to make their breakthroughs in a country that is backing the competition to the hilt.

The countdown is almost over so, with just one day remaining until the big kick-off, FIFA.com sets the scene by listing some of the most surprising statistics thrown up by this third edition of the tournament, which features 304 teenagers representing 16 nations, all of them vying for the world crown.

3 - The number of FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cups Ghana’s Ellen Coleman will have appeared at when her country makes its entrance in the next few days. The 17-year-old defender is the only player to have featured at all three tournaments, following on from New Zealand 2008 and Trinidad and Tobago 2010.

6 - The number of stadiums that will host the 30 games to be held during the course of the competition. The Lankaran Stadium is situated in the city of the same name, while the five other venues can all be found in the capital Baku.

8 - The number of teams that have never failed to qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup: 2008 champions Korea DPR, Brazil, Germany, Canada, Nigeria, Ghana, Japan and New Zealand, the hosts four years ago. All eight will hope to put their experience to good effect over the next three weeks, while newcomers Azerbaijan, Uruguay, Gambia and China PR are raring to go.

10 - The number of FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup matches that Japan coach Hiroshi Yoshida has taken charge of. The most experienced coach in the history of the tournament, Yoshida is one of only two tacticians to feature at all three editions, his Canada counterpart Bryan Rosenfeld being the other.

Как сообщает Sport.1news.az, в первый день состоятся четыре матча.

В первой игре дня на стадионе «8-й километр» встречаются сборные Северной Кореи и Гамбии. Встреча началась.

В 15:00 в Лянкяране стартует игра между сборными Франции и США. Два других матча и торжественная церемония открытия чемпионата мира пройдут на Республиканском стадионе имени Тофика Бахрамова. В 17:00 на поле главной арены страны выйдут сборные Нигерии и Канады. После этого матча начнется церемония открытия, а в 20:00 свой первый матч на ЧМ-2012 проведет сборная Азербайджана, которая сыграет с Колумбией.
