I wish we would of preserve some sections of area and not developed that part into the modern houses... :sleepy: Haha glad my grandmother's house is like the houses you see here :) Almost 85 years old Korean traditional structure house :)

Very interesting. Seoul looks so much nicer in the early twentieth century than in the 1960's.

^^^ you can try Bukchon in Northern Seoul where most of the Hanok or Korean Traditional Houses were moved and currently located. You can also try the Namsangol Hanok Village on the slopes of Namsan Mountain

All Asian cities looked nicer pre-war. Even Manila (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3654/3511914223_da681ca420_b.jpg). War's an epic bitch. Damn imperialists.

The first photo is epic.

Look how majestic the city looks! You can see huge gates, and maybe temples in the background.

kindda OT, but yes, Manila was the most beautiful city in Asia back then, and our country was second only to Imperial Japan in terms of wealth

Wrong. That photo is from the 1920s. The standing that RP's econ. was second to Japan's didn't come until the 1950s.
