The exterior bracing really adds some character to this building, as well as the fat base and hole in the middle.

This is a cooool building! It reminds me of that building in Miami. I foget the name....I think it's Atlantis Conduminiums. :?

This building gets 9 outta 10, I'd love it over here in my city.

Great-looking building...the bottom of the 'arch' at the top should have a glass floor so you can look down to the ground... 8.5/10 :)

It's the Shanghai stock exhange actually. That's part of the reason for the bracing on the outside. It's there not only to provide structural support for the part above the hold, but also so there could be huge column-free floor spaces that can be used for the trading floor.

I think this building is awesome, I give it 9/10

yes Westin it does resemble the Atlantis in Miami with the whole in the middle...maybe I should do a thread on that one???...LOL..anyways this is a striking structure...I like the X bracing but the building should be a bit wider...unique indeed...8/10.

5.5/10 Funny looking building! Reminds me a bit of MC Escher's art. This one really is quite funny. I don't like it though. Looking at it makes my tummy churn...
