As I know, there are at least two powerlines running to Zhoushan Island
- one overhead line with a 2700 metres long span via Damao Island. The towers of the main span ( look at http://www.wikimapia.org/#lat=29.9341194&lon=122.0362186&z=18&l=5&m=b&v=8 ) are very impressive. How tall are they? When were they built? Has someone pictures?
- than there is an HVDC submarine cable, which is described on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HVDC_Zhoushan . Is this scheme still in use? Where are its terminals?
