True, the problem is that the way banks operate in the DRC makes it impossible for private initiatives to take off and buttress the national economy. Short-term credit and high interest rate are blocking access to credit for small business. The government should help boost the economy by creating a long-term credit bank whose lending policies will accommodate the needs of small enterprises.
