I came across this poll and was frankly surprised what all those African cities have to offer that Nairobi doesn't have . Isn't it time to act patriotic and ELEVATE Nairobi to the position it DESERVES?
Vote Nairobi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nairobi has a very short history. I think the wonder city thing favourable old cities. Maybe if Mombasa was as developed as Nairobi then we would be somewhere.

City ranking of this type is more emotional than objective. Unless one uses objective measures such as population, GDP, infrastructure (e.g. Kms of tarmacked roads, etc), then....as they say beauty (and all other subjective parameters) lies in the eyes of the beholder!

You must be joking to think Nairobi has a richer history than Kampala, the best Nairobi was before 1900 other than a Maasai grazing ground was a small barter trade post. By then, Kampala hosted the headquarters of the famous Buganda kingdom.

:ohno: people lack knowledge of Ugandan history before there was a Uganda there was the buganda kingdom and kampala was the capital . The largest tribe in uganda ugdan has around 20 cultural heritage sites in Kampala , Kampala dates back to as early as the 1700s the city is full of culture . Nairobi was just an industrial hub from the British empire .this is why Kampala is so unplanned in shape .
