This summer I visited my Grandma in Warsaw. As she has a wonderful view of Warsaw's skyline from her balcony I couldn't resist to take "some" pictures of it. After a time of hesitation I decided to share them with the rest of humanity ;) I hope that you will enjoy them.

For those of you that are not so familiar with Warsaw's skyscrapers I made the panorama below:

19:43 Good bye sun, hello moon :) The buildings are still dark, only Mariott is iluminated so far. At closer look you can also see some weak lights at the Palace and TPSA.

Hm...It's sort of funny that the jeliousy that you have towards this wonderful skyline is just pathetic! You should be happy for this skyline, not "ragging" on it! Take a chill pill and enjoy yourself! :)

Well, it's not exactly Hongkong or New York... But 20-40 years? I wouldn't be so pessimistic. I've just heard that Vahap Toy is coming back to Poland ;)


boring buildings...Unfortunately the Millenium Plaza (Toy-Toy) is almost non-visible from this place and angle :D ;)

i also think warsaw need some years, but then it will be very impresive skykline!
(not hongkong but like frankfurt ,la defence or istanbul)
the location of the skyscrapers are very good, next to the city center.

Warsaw has a good sklyine but from ths angle you don't see the sklyine(just some buildings),I think that is what 3emperor is talking about.

Very nice and modern town with lots of highrises !

i like warsaw but tke buildings are spread out on too big area but in 2 to 5 years i think it will be much nicer and the spaces will be filled in :okay:

Very nice; Warsaw is definitely up and coming. Has that Liebeskind tower been approved yet? It will create some variety in the architecture.

Warsaw is really a stunning city!!....Definately one of my favourites in Europe.....would love to live there :D

I really like the Polish skyline! The buildings are so classy and sophisticated, and it makes the whole skyline look really professional and nice. :) Great pics michau!
