uptown-midtown, it almost seems that you don't want Miami to get a new tallest if it means your being mistaken.

no,i hope im mistaken and met2 and met3 are the next two tallest towers in miami.now i just said that met 3 would block either wachovia or boa which have been miami's signature towers for a long while.

I've been e-mailing those people for almost a year asking them to update their list but gave up when I never got a reply. I'm surprised they finally got around to it, but of course they're still missing some. I thought the Opera tower as going to be 60 stories. Hey guys, I emailed Paul Cucuzza at emporis about Met 2 at 72/750 ft. He put it as proposed. I got it from Chuck. I updated him regarding Met 3 breaking ground next year before Met 2 also. But, I don't think he'll update met 3 unless Chuck can acquire an exact height.

Oh, Chuck, regarding the Watson Island deal. What ever happened to the 80 story condo tower proposal? I emailed Paul at emporis about the Island Gardens hotel at 53 floors. He wasn't familiar with the proposal (which was approved, i read on this site).

Part of the delays could be attributed to redesign. Part to the necessary archealogical excavation. Last I heard (which was several months ago), Met 3 was selling very well.

Hello Pulgoso :) , MET 1 will be completed with the MET SQUARE Movie theater in early 2008, but for MET 3 , still having its Groundbreaking in Late December, 2005, will be Completed by Christmas, 2009, with a Grand opening of the new Whole Foods Market in January or February, 2010. Why so long you ask, its the Huge foundation to take up to 5 months to complete for the 866 Foot , 74 floor Tower with a Huge square spire on top. As for MET 2, I still see this tower starting in Late , 2006, at 65 floors and being completed by 2011.

When the MET complex is finished, it will be a beast of a project. One of the best I have ever seen. :)
