Do you have time to split a topic? There is no rush, but could you split the Flora & Fauna topic into two, one strictly for flora and the other strictly for fauna?:

The majority of the replies would go to the fauna topic, with only the fourth post on the first page, and the bardera field image on the second page going to the flora topic:

It seems a thread that was supposed to be about natural resources in general has become about just the oil/gas exploration. We could do with splitting it into two threads as this would encourage more discussion on the various other natural resources.

Once they are split, expect more posts from me in the "Somalia | Natural Resources & Beyond" thread. ;)

How about a little re-organising of the forum to ge it looking a bit more structured; it seems at the minute a lot of threads are just floating at the bottom of the forum. I propose two new sections:

1. General

2. Economy, Development & Social

^Agreed, good idea, but I feel its premature. The Morrocan and Algerian forums are great examples of well organised forums, but we should first aim for at least 300 topics and 25000 posts before we do a major restructuring.

At the current growth rate that would mean somewhere in Jan/march 2013. Many new major projects will no doubt materialize soon in the capital and other parts of the country, which would justify new categories by capital/region/culture/heritage/transport, etc.

^BTW, the above was my personal opinion, if others do share your sentiment then by all means change the structure.

Inshallah it will be done in the future.

I've looked at what topics would go where and I agree there are currently nowhere near enough topics to go into such sub-sections (especially an Econony section). But yh def. something for the future, at least the idea has been floated now. :cheers:
