Grefsen Stasjon's hjemmeside (http://www.grefsenstasjon.no/)

Ellers er vel fremdeles din opprinnelige post like riktig, utenom årstallene:
Grefsen Stasjonsby
Grefsen - Oslo
Status: Approved

85 000sqm with 900 apartments and some office is about to start construction. Grefsen Stasjonsby was first approved in 2001, and construction start is expected to take place in the first months of 2006. The first apartments will be out for salesment in january 2006.
The project, one of Oslo's largest nowdays contains three 12 story high-rise buildings pluss a unknown number of lower buildings below 10 floors.

Galro April 26th, 2012, 02:52 PM Do we really a need tread for this? :cripes: Or could you perhaps move it the Trodnheim sub forum so that I could pretend it never happened?
mjoks007 April 26th, 2012, 03:13 PM ^^Or make it sticky, so we dont notice it. Seriously, this dont deserve its own thread.
IceCheese April 26th, 2012, 03:26 PM So we make threads based on whether we like the design or not? This project equals the size of Sørenga, but lacks the height limits.
Galro April 26th, 2012, 03:30 PM And people complained about the suburbia feeling of Sørenga ... :|
mjoks007 April 26th, 2012, 03:33 PM In that case, there are a lot of exiting threads, waiting to be made.
@ de andre: ah the irony, everytime there is a new thread in the Oslo section a few guys always reply: "argh, this is a shitty project, we really don't need this thread". A year later the thread has grown to 5 pages...So shut up whiners! :D
Mulefisk April 26th, 2012, 07:25 PM @ de andre: ah the irony, everytime there is a new thread in the Oslo section a few guys always reply: "argh, this is a shitty project, we really don't need this thread". A year later the thread has grown to 5 pages...So shut up whiners! :D
+1
I think it looks pretty good. Don't know about you guys, but I would by a flat there if I had the chance.
OnTheNorthRoad April 26th, 2012, 08:23 PM I agree it doesn't look that bad, but two identical blocks + the planning = strong associations to 60s drabantby-development.
Spearman April 26th, 2012, 09:25 PM Neutral. Yes, there is such a thing. Even online.
Hurban April 26th, 2012, 11:49 PM The renders look lovely, especially in summer magic hour. :) More suburbs should look like this. ;)
espenhs April 27th, 2012, 01:41 AM I agree it doesn't look that bad, but two identical blocks + the planning = strong associations to 60s drabantby-development.Exactly what I was thinking, they should have been different from each other, in either height or design to make it much more interesting.
Northridge April 27th, 2012, 05:31 AM And I thought it had something to do with the station itself..
Ingenioren April 27th, 2012, 09:01 AM When the towers were cut from 14 to 12 floors developpers removed an underpass to the trainstation in protest. We're still up for a lid over Storo metrostation with a 10 floor officebuilding...
IceCheese April 27th, 2012, 10:23 AM ^^Grefsen station will be moved/closed down eitherway. Ruter wants to combine metro and train at Storo instead.
Northridge April 27th, 2012, 10:43 AM ^^Seems like a good idea.
bookings April 27th, 2012, 11:10 AM ^^ But the station building will remain, I hope? If there is something worth preserving, it would be station buildings like Grefsen, Kjelsås... Also, the circular hole to shift trains to different tracks (not sure about the name of such an implementation) is still there. Is this already protected? You have half a museum there already...
starkwell April 27th, 2012, 04:26 PM like 1&2, not that keen on 3&4...
Hurban April 27th, 2012, 06:20 PM ^^Grefsen station will be moved/closed down eitherway. Ruter wants to combine metro and train at Storo instead.
Indeed! Thats a swell idea! And none of these put a stop with the wonderful idea of making a new sentrum cross tunnel entry @ this spot in the future..!
Northridge April 27th, 2012, 06:21 PM ^^ But the station building will remain, I hope? If there is something worth preserving, it would be station buildings like Grefsen, Kjelsås...
Isn't these buildnings verneverdige? Either way I don't think they gonna demolish it. From the plan the north side of the train track looks untouched.
Galro April 27th, 2012, 07:17 PM Of course they are verneverdige. Everything of that age is.
Galro May 1st, 2012, 01:41 AM Can we post Sinsen Torg here too? It is in the same area.
Þróndeimr May 1st, 2012, 04:17 AM ^^ yeps that can be included as well :)
IceCheese May 1st, 2012, 04:20 AM I'm too drunk to object.

IceCheese October 22nd, 2012, 12:47 AM ^^Hehe, no the project isn't much of a "looker". A child with crayons could make something that would be more esthetically pleasing.

nah, I find it interesting at least. But the two highrises just south of Storo station are already up, and it seems like they have prepared for a third (not in the render, so the current foundation might be for that tiny box next to them). They don't look like in the render from where I pass them, more like the square "highrise" boxes to the left of them. Actually, as of now they look more or less exactly the same. Which is not a compliment.

No the painted ones Galro posted belongs to a quite early stage of the project. More realistic ones can be found on it's homepage, http://www.grefsenstasjon.no/ and on finn.no

bookings October 23rd, 2012, 04:48 PM Are you thinking of these?
Yes. The new ones look similar from the other side, though I haven't really had a close look. They are perhaps not that bad. Tall, at least. It really depends on what the balconies get "decorated" with. On the shady side, storage of old furniture and the odd tv-antenna gives it a cheap look. They are at least better looking than their much fatter neighbour (https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Storo,+Oslo,+Norway&hl=en&ll=59.945222,10.778961&spn=0.005427,0.021136&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=57.42297,111.269531&oq=storo&t=h&hnear=Storo,+Oslo,+Norway&layer=c&cbll=59.945213,10.778798&panoid=QrZjRNpBtLH3dAbE1gj8DA&cbp=12,208.71,,0,-11.89&z=16)
:jax: October 27th, 2012, 10:40 AM This segment Storokrysset-Sinsenkrysset is a strategic one for Oslo, particularly transport-wise. Too bad they made a bit of a mess of it And it is not for lack of money (http://dittoslo.no/forbruker/bil-og-trafikk/snart-gar-det-rundt-i-storo-krysset-1.7598060). Storo is now on third position after Oslo S and Majorstua as a transport nexus, but 30 years on is still a crossroad with amenities. While Sinsenkrysset is a crossroad without amenities...

I find it interesting.
Ok, mostly because I live and work in the area. I have been following the project since 2005, and after 6-7 long years something finally start happening.

IceCheese November 7th, 2012, 04:28 PM Franske balkonger: -Fordi ordentlige balkonger koster litt mer-
Registered_User November 8th, 2012, 11:24 PM Anyone know if there are any plans for a tunnel or bridge crossing the metro and train tracks, making easy access to Grefsen Stasjon (the train station) from Grefsen Stasjon (the housing area)?
IceCheese November 9th, 2012, 12:09 AM Yes, reguleringsplanen for Grefsen stasjon calls for a new building with access over Storo T and Gjøvikbanen. There has also been suggested to move the station further west, so more direct access between metro and railroad could be achieved.
Ingenioren November 9th, 2012, 08:47 AM A underpass was originally proposed aswell, but it was abandoned at the same time as the height was lowered.
Registered_User November 9th, 2012, 06:32 PM IceCheese and Ingenioren - thanks for the update.
Moving Grefsen Station closer to Storo (T) makes sense, and would eliminate the need of an underpass or bridge. I like that. :)
Registered_User March 10th, 2013, 03:36 PM House 1 is now mostly done, and people have started moving in. :)
The construction of house 2 is moving along, and the foundations for house 3, 4 and 5 seems to have just started. Parking house also seem to be in place.

I quite like these two building, and 12 floors certainly don't harm anything. Will be exciting to see how the rest of the area develops.
I live just 300 meters away, and will keep an eye with the project.
Galro March 10th, 2013, 05:00 PM Will they only add colors to one side of each building?
Registered_User March 10th, 2013, 05:11 PM Will they only add colors to one side of each building?
You mean the colored frames around the windows?
If so, then the answer is no. House 1 have yellow/orange colors on three sides of the buildings, while house 2 have a turquoise tone.

Galro March 10th, 2013, 05:14 PM Okay, thanks. It was a little bit hard to get a understanding on which facades you have actually photgraphed, and the one side of the first buildings look rather black in this picture:
http://oi49.tinypic.com/zu04ea.jpg
Hence I thought it had one side black and the other colored. :) Thanks for your explanation.
IceCheese March 10th, 2013, 06:25 PM I guess the good thing is they'll use different architects on every step, so that the next highrises won't be identical to these two.

Sorry! Both I and the first picture could have been clearer.. ;)
I quite like these highrises. Everything from the light bricks on the walls and the colored window frames to the overall design. Not as dark and crowded as the neighboring project Torshovdalen.
I guess the good thing is they'll use different architects on every step, so that the next highrises won't be identical to these two.
It sure will be interesting to see what the different architects will come up with. :)
From the Rom Eiendom - Grefsen Stasjon (http://www.romeiendom.no/vare-eiendommer/grefsen-stasjon) website I read the following in regards to architects:
Stage 1 (house 1 and 2): HRTB Arkitekter AS
Stage 2 (house 3 and 4): Hille Melbye Arkitekter AS
Stage 3 (house 5): 4B Arkitekter AS
On another note, has anyone seen updated renderings of the entire Grefsen Stasjon? It's a rather large area, and no renderings on the official website seem to span out for more than house 1-5...
This is an outdated one from back in 2006 when the project was called Grefsen Stasjonsby.
