Sorry for having to post this here, but I don't know who else to turn to. A couple of days ago I downloaded Mozilla firefox, just to see what all the fuss was about. Since then (this happens in explorer too), strange things happen when I try to navigate and post at Skyscraperpage.com's (SSP) forum. It seems that I can log in, but as soon as I go to a different page within the SSP forum, I'm automatically logged out again. For example, I have to log in on the forum's main page for the link to the current events forum to show up. When it does, and I click the link, it asks me again to type my name and password! After I do, it sends me to the current events forum, but when I click on a thread, it asks me to log in yet again. So I have to log in every time I move from page to page within C.E.
Worst of all, this makes it impossible to post. When I type something in the quick reply box and click the "reply" button, it brings me to the login page. But even after I type in my name and password, it doesn't post my message! It says "No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster".
Also, on the forum main page, even when I'm logged out, the link in the top right corner that should say "login" says "logout" instead, as if I'm logged in (clicking it doesn't really do anything). I think this has something to do with cookies, and I've fiddled with the cookie options on both IE and firefox for a good while, but the problem doesn't go away. Any help is much appreciated.
