Nah still our public schools are just unbelievably terrible like far worse than they should be.

yes indeed. the public schools are not only horrendous, the education ministry insists con continuing to build schools straight out of the 1930s congo. bare walls, cheap floors, cheap tables and chairs, a simply blackboard and chalk. no modern conveniences of any sort, let alone modern pedagogical instruments (musical instruments, computers, books, labs...).

but Iraq's education budget for capital construction is a tiny percentage of what's spent on the construction of "sports cities" , religious places and the military. not to mention the bottomless pit of the electricity "ministry".
