50.000? never!
this is still a small stadium as you can see

this is germany's best soccer stadium, it also is a huge dome with closable roof
it has a capacity of max 60.000, now look how big this one is

btw: the field can be moved out of the stadium, so you can play soccer outside the stadium while doing motocross in the stadium at the same time

i know, but i read it's a 50000 seater stadium. I read it in many sources. And i know what you mean about the german stadium, the ARENA. But, pics are deceiving. Let's ask qatar4ever to confirm it. I'll try and find the article to support this.

ok, but there was a mistake i think
look at this stand for example

it looks like it has 25 rows only, while the arena aufschalke has about 60 and more

hi all! Thanks spirit for posting these pictures. I've always wanted to post them bus never got the time. But i think you got two stadiums mixed up. This stadium has a max capacity of 15,000 only which is unfortunte for a great team like al-sadd. It should be closer to 30,000. But the khalifa stadium, after renovations, should carry 50,000+ sports fan. And if you guys think this stadium is great you should see the khalifa one which is scheduled to open 2006 and is nothing less than a work of art.

the kool thing about this stadium is its very new, modern and probably has the best facilities than anyother stadium in the whole gulf and mideast. Here is more about the stadium and club.

AL-SADD SPORTS CLUB

Can anyone please tell me the exact location of the Al-Sadd Indoor Hall please? Volleyball season is starting and I'd like to watch.

When we say Sports City, is it the one near Bin Omran? Or near Villagio? Will taxi drivers know the direction to Al-Sadd Indoor?

Please help. Thanks!

Well, it's right next to Al Sadd Stadium, it's part of the same complex.
