The grand opening was Friday I believe. Lynx is a good bus as buses go, and the new intermodal terminal is really cool...here are some pictures:

I'll try and get more exterior/interior shots when I am down for Thanksgiving. Anyone have renderings of Miami's new intermodal center?

Miami's does look awesome...its cool that they will be incorporating more than just the bus system in. When is this thing going to get built, and is it downtown?

Its off of Lejeune right next to the airport and where the final tri-rail stop is...

Hey guys. The Lynx Station is actually a block long. Last nite, it lit up brilliantly. I was shocked it looked so nice. Neon and exterior lighting. No pix yet. HOWEVER, the MIC in Miami-Dade is another story.

The MIC is the MAC when it comes to design, size, location, and relevance. I've seen the plans on the net and the video. Freakin awesome.

The Orlando Lynx station- as far as being multi-modal- its a pipedream. UNLESS Mayor Buddy Dyer helpes foster it like the other new downtown developments.

Actually when it was built, it has capabilities for a central lightrail, and commuter-rail station serving the entire metro area. Thats why it was built so nicely, Ive also heard ideas of moving Amtrack to that station. Of course lightrail seems to be out of the question, yet a commuter rail line may be a future possibility for the station.

Amtrak seems like a natural move, and makes so much more sense than south of downtown as it is now.
