Swede

While looking at a website for an architectural comany I found this rendering:
http://www.lund-valentin.se/images/foto/Akerhoghus.gif
Only info given was that everything was being kept secret. However the filename might give us a clue. "Akerhoghus"; the hoghus-part is obviously just a web-friendly way of spelling höghus (highrise), which leaces us with Aker. Come to think of it, not much of a clue that. :D The rendering itself only gives us that it is a residential building (based on how it looks).

Hmm, what springs to mind when I read Akerhoghus is the new Ahus hospital, that will cover most of eastern parts of Oslo and upper parts of Akershus county. Christian said something about a highrise beeing rejected there. The danish C.F. Møller won the tender.

If it is not that, then it could be something else around here. Aker(shus) is not only the name of a county, but also an old name for parts of Oslo, that is much used.
Btw. Swede, when will we see more photos from your trip to NYC?

I hope it's Swedish (it's a Swedish architect-firm at least), right now can we just pray :D
EDIT: Look at this! If you scroll down here (http://www.lund-valentin.se/nyheter.html), you'll see this:

The area is Åkersberga located outside of Stockholm. Man, I HOPE it will be built!

Now that's a clear match alright :D :D
Just sad it's not closer to sthlm, Åkersberga is quite far from the centre, that high building might look a bit lonely considering the flat landscape..
But none the less, I hope it is built..
Sthlm needs centres outside the centre..

The same image is also available in this article from a local newspaper (in Swedish).
One sentence of the article reads:
"In addition, there are plans in progress to build a high-rise building in one part of the new development.
- We haven't yet decided how it will look. That remains to be evaluated."
According to the rest of the article, the first stage of redevelopment in Åkersberga will start soon,.

Åkersberga it is. Great that more places are thinking high-rises/skyscrapers as a way to mark the core/hub areas areound the metro, but kinda sad that they'll all be spread so thin. No real clusters coming up :(
But where comes the name Aker from?
aker=Åker since Å isn't part of the english alphabet.
