Can anyone advise a well priced hotel with a room spa & fantastic views of the harbour & what about a reputable watch shop for swiss/euro watches.

I'd love to stay at the peninsula but it's HK 3900 a night for a deluxe room.

for the heli flight, i think there are shorter one (in mins). And i know at least two operators are offering various offers. I think one operator is offering night flight, which maybe more romantic i think.

I dunno if this is what you're looking for, but if you wanna travel on budget, you should book one at the YMCA in Tsim Sha Tsui. Its right next to the Peninsula and offers the exact same views. As for the room spa, I dunno if the YMCA has one...

it very depends on your budget and what you meant by 'well-priced'. i don't think any hotels in hong kong have room-spa though intercontinental hong kong offers an extensive range of spa facilities with private spa suites. other luxury hotels which offer spectacular harbour views include Island Shangri-la, Ritz Carlton, Grand Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental...etc

there is a new heli tour costs around KH$800-900 for 15 minutes.

You might wanna check out the Marco Polo Hotels
( http://www.marcopolohotels.com/ ) Marco Polo Gateway,prince and HK. Three of the Polos are right next to each other but offer different levels of luxury. The Kowloon Hotel ( http://www.thekowloonhotel.com/ ), Intercontinental Hong Kong ( http://www.hongkong-ic.intercontinental.com/ ),
Mandarin Oriental, and Shangri-La are hotels that should have spas in their rooms. Theres two Shangri-la btw one is in Tsimshatsui and one is on the HK island side (more pricey but more luxury)

For watches you can go to City Chain, or just walk down Causeway Bay near Sogo department store you will see several expensive watch shops, theres a few inside Harbour City in Tsimshatsui, and some on Central and Admiralty. Theres also swiss watch shops inside Festival Walk and Pacific Place.
