meron ito provision for basketball as what can be seen sa tarp. pero ang major purpose nito is theater type shows, concerts, worships, etc. hindi naman palagi meron PBA games, at kung college basketball league ang gumamit, nakupo, i'd better use USEP, panabo or digos coliseums kesa gumamit ng 50,000 seater na ang manonood ay 5,000 lang. kahit nga PBA di kayang punuin ang araneta lalo na pag hindi championship game. at least, we can now accommodate big international concerts and shows once finished at i-open for public.

im guessing the use is only for huge church events when theyre gathering members for international or national prayer rallies where attendace is anticipated to fill the seats to full capacity. and that does not happen very often like anniversary celebration, etc

I think, they have congregations everywhere, i have a friend who is a member of KJC in Manila and confirmed congregations in Quezon City, Pasay, Taguig, Makati, Paranaque to name a few. But he said, that if Pastor ACQ is in Manila, they have to rent bigger places like Ultra, Ynares...

im in Metro Manila now and ive seen alot of KJC churches here too. theres one along Ortigas Avenue. theres also one in Cubao.

This dome pala will be completed by 2015. Eyeing to be the most modern cathedral in the world and a new landmark in Davao.

Hindi ako kasapi ng KJC pero nadadaanan ko ang channel nila sa cable. Sa palagay ko dun pa rin sila sa simbahan nila sasamba pero once in a while may mga special occassions sila kung saan imbitado ang mga miyembro nila sa iba't-ibang panig ng kapuluan at ng mundo. At dun sa tinatawag nilang Jesus Christ open field nila ginaganap sa ganitong mga okasyon.

Kaya sa palagay ko ililipat na ang mga special activities mula sa open field sa King Dome pag nagawa na ito.

It will push through IMO.. But sad to say this is not the biggest dome IN THE WORLD, only in VISMIN. And Davao City is indeed the LARGEST CITY in terms of area.. Although just a fraction of that space is developed..

Agree. I remember when I entered Quiboloy's compound (it was during 2010 presidential forum) I was amazed with what's inside - they have this big prayer hall with nice interior design. Now with the construction of this dome, it surely will be a lot lot bigger than the existing one.

saw the site last monday afternoon pag take off ng plane.. they're still digging the ground loooking for gold. hehehe joke lang. bitaw, daku daku na jud ilang nakalot kay mura nag mine pit tan-awon. naay mga heavy equipments nag tikaw tikaw. busy na sila. walay pics kay wala ko nag expect na makita man diay sya from the window where i seated. :)
