bi de insanların 2 kat yasağını delip 5 6 katlı binalar yapması, balkonlarını kapatması, genişletmesi, sıva boya yaptırmaması gibi problemler
varoş da değil, nezih sayılabilecek bir mahalle ayrıca
görüntüsü ücra bir yer havası yaratsa da, yarı öbürgün iyice yeşillenince, insanların bahçelerindeki ağaçlar büyyünce ve boş arsalara evler yapıldıkça, güzel gzükeceğine inanıyorum.
izmirin problemi de bu zaten, çorak bi şehir dağları tepeleri bzkır, tepelerdeki lowrise yerleşimler varoş hissiyatı uyadırıyo hemen o yüzden. Oysa ki Boğaz sırtlarındaki, Arnavutköy'deki Ortaköy'deki yapılaşma çok daha kötü ama yeşilliklerin arasndan gzümüze güzel gelyo

Opera ve kütüphane binası ışıl ışıl
Türkiye'nin milli adını taşıyan ilk kütüphanesi olan İzmir Milli Kütüphanesi ile İzmir Devlet Opera ve Balesi binası Konak Belediyesi tarafından bayram öncesi ışıklandırıldı. Opera binasının kubbesi sarı, bahçe kısmı ve palmiyeler alttan yeşil, ayrıca pencere bölümleri de iç ışıklandırmayla aydınlatıldı. Opera binası ve Milli Kütüphane'nin aydınlatılmasıyla birlikte Nadir Nadi Caddesi farklı bir güzelliğe kavuştu. İzmir Devlet Opera ve Balesi Müdürü Alparslan Mater, Konak Belediye Başkanı Muzaffer Tunçağ’ı tarihi binaları ön plana alarak sahip çıkması nedeniyle kutladı ve teşekkür etti. İzmir Devlet Opera ve Balesi’nin kullandığı bina,1912 yılında okumuş, kültürlü Türk gençlerinin yetiştirilmesi amacıyla, Beyler Sokağındaki Salepçi-zade Konağı'nın selamlık bölümünde hizmete girmiş. Bina 1926 yılında Elhamra Sineması olarak hizmet vermeye başlamış. Kütüphane binası ise 1933 yılında tamamlanmış. Bu anıt eserin projesi Mimar Tahsin Sermet Bey tarafından Neo-Klasik tarzda hazırlanmış.
