^Ditto. LA in rain actually makes the city look just a little bit more like the cities back East. I kinda like that. ;)

anywho, rain is definitely a rarity in LA. Wish it rained more often than the 5 days a year. :)

I was up at 5:30 yesterday morning. I live in Whittier and I drove past one of those thermomter displays. It read 35 F.

My Car has one of those. Its a peice of shit. One minute it says 68*F the next minute it says -12*F, one minute it says 45*C the next its 93*C. Its really messed up.

If that really happened your windows would burst

Well for 5:30 AM, that does seem a little chilly.

ya were in a big time chill here in LA and Cali in general. many of the mountain areas have been in the negatives for the last week or so and most LA valleys are in the low 30's for lows this week. Some of the desert areas like lancaster and palmdale are experiencing low temps of 10 degrees or around there. very unusual for this time of year. Its been an exceptionally cold november and beginning to december but im not complaining. its great for the mountains and snowmaking and i love the fact that were in a active storm pattern now. we need it big time.

Not likely. You know what the roads will be like?? Since it rarely snows in Vancouver, maybe once a year, the highways are living hell! People actually abandon there cars and walk away right in the middle of traffic! Even if its not even an inch! Imagine what it'll be like in LA!

It's supposed to rain on saturday. I am so over it. :runaway: Atleast it doesnt snow. You can see snow on the mountains when you are in LA. I am so glad we can see snow but don't have to actually experience it unless we want to.

It's been raining all day and the high here in Whittier failed to break 55 :) I hope it is like this for the rest of the winter. I drove by Pomona the other day, where the 57 meets the 60 and the hilly region there which is usually a parched brown most of the year was a vibrant and pastoral green. I think there is some natural beauty to be had in the SGV if it only rained more here.
