now this is what i call a tower, finally a proper change in sheikh zayed road since the Emirates Tower.

This one must be close to the Dubai WTC, look at the reflection in the glass.

Yeah, this is one is beyond perfect, all the features I like in a skyscraper are in this tower, at least the exterior features.

How can they find out if you weren't the one who told them? Do they contact the architecture firm that designed it or what?

could verywell be the case. I dont have time to mail every architect regarding heights so I ask you guys to help out.

Who's in charge of contacting architects at emporis.com, maybe he's got better relations with international architects that are doing some Dubai work and perhaps he can get us some info on the status of the buildings designed designed by these architects.

It could be the case as I have just recieved a mail from Emporis HQ with some more confirmed heights. I have requested confirmation and sources of these heights before I update them but its like ocen heights, new burj hotel tower, icon etc

I think hes talking about the recently announced Burj Dubai Lake Tower.

i guess when normal people like us mail them and say:
gimme height
it won't work

but when they see emporis, they maybe are more co-operative

from that last pic, it looks like it will fill the gap between the trade centre appartments and emirates towers. cant wait to see this so close to the emirates towers!
