Well, just when it looked like it warent gonna happen, some surprising development in the case. The danish Culturalheritage-institute(Kulturarvsstyrelsen), has withdrawn its veto and its protest against the project.
The Culturalheritageinstitute vetoed the project in september, effecttively blocking the city from making a dissision. On a meeting with the city last week, the CHI tried to get the city to change the project or to agree on some sort of compromise, but the city refused. So the institute has withdrawn its veto, and left it in the hands of the city.
The veto was thought by many to be the biggest threath to the project, but the withdrawel of the veto, does not meen the project will go ahead. At the moment it is unknown if there is a majority for the project in the city council.
