The main goal of the Municipal Authority is the protection of the natural beauty and the green areas of Vouliagmeni, so that its unique physiognomy and excellent environment can be preserved. With the help of a systematic planning the city is constantly enriched with parks, beautiful orchards, functional playgrounds, pedestrian zones and contemporary infrastructures.

As you can see, the southern suburbs (and northern, pics soon to come) are second to none in my opinion... the perceptions of Athens completely blown away in these residential areas and coastal living. Beach, sun, and GREENARY. This is where you want to raise a family. (and many do)

Οχι, σοβαρά, με πορώσατε. Μάλλον είναι καιρός να κάνω καμμιά περιοδεία στα νότια προάστεια αυτό το Σαββατοκύριακο...

The only bad thing about Vouliagmeni is that it is pretty far from downtown Athens so I would hate to have to be the person who would have to commute everyday to Athens or Maroussi from Vouliagmeni.
