This monument was built in 1901 by the Ottoman Grand Vizier Kucuk Said Pasha to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the coronation of Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamit II. The architectural design of the tower bears a resemblance to those of the German Consulate building on the 1st Kordon and St. Polycarp Church in Alsancak Izmir. Raymond Pere designed them all. The Tower is 25 meters in height and has fountains on each of its four corners. The clock in the tower was a gift from German Kaiser Wilhelm II.

Beautiful. The one flaw of this clocktower is the [i]clock[i] which is not very elegant and doesn't quite seem to match. 8.5/10.

Now this tower is very magnificant!!! I would like this is my backyard more then anything else because I think it will even fit in it and would be the best centerpiece for it. 10/10
