It has been about a year since any talk about demolishing this historical gem has occurred. Does anybody have any news?
IMO, this is a sign that the proposers of demolition have reached a standstill, and there is a great chance that this structure will live on to be seen by future generations.
The only thing that will truly save the hospital is either a) landmark designation or b) adaptive reuse. I haven't heard any news about either recently.
