I took a stroll down High Park yesterday when it was snowing, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Those stupid debates about the weather always seem to ignore the fact that snow can actually be exhilirating as well. It was just an absolute wonder.

There were actually a few people walking, as well, but I do have to wonder--why don't more people use the park in the Winter? At least every once in a while (dog owners certainly seem to, however).

BTW: I need to get a digital camera BAD. Anyone know any good models? Has to be cheap but good.

How cheap? How many megapixels will you need? Will you be printing pics, or mostly for the web and email?

I'd recommend a Canon product at no more than 3.2 MP, but I would need to know more info.

Go canon or nikon......check out the canon SD200 or SD300....theyre incredibly small and have amazing quality for their size and feature set they arent too expensive.

If you like High Park in the Winter (which IS beautiful), then you'd love Toronto Island. The wind can be pretty chilly, so keep your eye on CP24, but otherwise it's the most scenic spot in Toronto. The ravine paths in The Beaches are lovely too.
