This one is the Monte Amiata in Milan.
An incredibly huge complex built up in the '70s.
The architect of the white block is ALDO ROSSI and the rest is by G. AYMONINO.
It is, I think, quite unique! Inside it has so many ambients, corridors, levels, shops, pubblic utilities...
A labyrint!
I lived not far from this enormous building and have some friends living in it. The first times I went to meet them, I lost myself in the dedalus of the arcades and stairs...
The last thing: it is said to be the larger (for number of participants) condominium in Europe. Only think about the number of the flats!

This is sooooooooooo ugly - no: cool, no: undiscribable!

Reminds me a bit of the Olympic village in Munich...

Not real comieblock (too much individuality). But rather depressing anyway. These funny 70ies - hippies dreaming about paradise on Earth and building something like this instead...

è brutto, ma ne ho visti peggio..
a vederlo non sembra neanche che sia un posto così degradato...
vedo se trovo delle foto delle "lavatrici" di Genova...

It looks as if the architects have really thought about what they were building. Doesn't mean they got it right, but the scheme highlighted above is worthy of closer attention. I've seen similar developments in Glasgow which have failed mainly because of poor construction techniques and a bad social housing policy - not because the architectural design is bad.

That's better than "Corviale" in Rome.. Sure! :D

It doesn't look big. Atypical but still ugly.

The complex gets about 500 apartments (someone in two levels with internal stairs) and 1300 inhabitants. There are many activities as a gymnasium, a small cafè, hair dresser and many offices and studios.

This is a really excellent building! I wish there were more that complex and perfectly designed living buildings. I think this building is near perfection by its architecture. Even better that it is located in Italy...
