Saint-Nizier church

The building of the church started in 1303, and it was consecrated in 1407. Then it brick steeple was built during the XVth century and its portal was erected during the Renaissance era. Its vaults were rebuilt in the XVIII th century and finally its second steeple was erected in the XIX th century.

it's a really nice church! what is the name of the church near the tunnels of lyon because when i always drive back from vacation i drive into a tunnel and upon the mountain you c a really beautiful church???

This church reminds me a not so imposing version of Chartres Cathedral.

We have tons of similar churches. They all look nice but we have to keep the good marks for the wonderful ones. This one is great, but shows nothing that we can't find in hundreds of other churches.

You mean on the top of the hill? It's called Cathedrale de Fourvière.
