The International Medical Center(IMC) is a 300 bed private multidisciplinary hospital with several center of excellence clinics in Jeddah , Saudi Arabia. (KSA) IMC is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio USA. It is targeted to open in February, 2005.

IMC will provide an "world class" holistic healing environment through the efficient well designed infrastructure, advanced technology equipment, sourcing and retaining competent physicians/surgeons, nurses, paramedics and support staff from across the globe; and through the continuous support of the management team, and the board of directors.

Key management staff at IMC is Harvard educated/trained and other American educated/trained professionals. IMC will offer competitive salary and benefits package to ensure the employment of highest quality staff. IMC will make a difference in healthcare paradigm in the Middle East.

"The structural and interior design of the International Medical Center were planned for a dual purpose: to conform technically with the highest American and international health-care facility standards, and to promote a sense of well-being for our patients. The architectural designs, including all structural and electrical elements are monitored continuously by the Joint Commission International.

The IMCs facade and external design is crafted in the highest quality stone, quarried for centuries from regional mountain sources. The architectural and interior design respects and continues the legacy of local culture, craftsmanship, and ornamentation. The facilities modest yet fine Islamic design, the work of Dr. Sami Angawi, Architect, creates an atmosphere of dignity, beauty, and regality. Indeed, the fusion of modern technology and traditional Islamic design is a reflection of today’s Jeddah and Middle East evolving yet maintaining cultural dignity.
In continuity with our dedication to patient comfort and care, we exerted optimum effort into creating a caring atmosphere through our internal designs, lighting, and efficient usage of space. Research has shown that the immediate environment in Hospitals affect patients recovery levels and the duration of recovery time. Greenery, soft lighting, and pleasant views foster a sense of security and tranquility, resulting in faster healing time. This was thoughtfully considered in the design of our inpatient and outpatient rooms."

"An overall ambience of serenity and wellness created through our unique design:
A spacious, internal open-air garden and sitting area which provides a sense of serenity and an opportunity for patients to breathe fresh air, have access to sunshine, greenery, and quiet space to receive visitors in a pleasant atmosphere.
An upper-level, open-air walking and lounging area for female patients guarantees privacy and freedom of movement, especially for women recovering from surgery or post-natal operations.
Selected, elegant calligraphy and Islamic designs set into ceilings and walls of patient recovery rooms to help ease the mind and relief the boredom that often occurs when recovering in-bed or for prolonged periods of time.
Room-by-room access to natural light.
Fountains and access to the calming sound of water.
Carefully-selected soft, and indirect lighting
Reduce the burden of water and electricity consumption on our community by adaptations in the building design and utilizing advanced technology."

Past by the centre a few days ago. It nearly finished. It's located on Hail street, on the site of an old park (a bit of it is left).
