nazrey December 21st, 2004, 06:43 PM Malacca, about 150 kilometers to the south from Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia, is the guardian charged with the reflective task of preserving its past. Five hundred years ago, an extraordinary empire rose and fell here, its power and dreams suddenly caught off-gaurd by the dawn of the Colonial Era.
This is just a different view from historical town of Malacca. Not many people may want to take picture here at night. Although the picture result is bright and colorful, actually it was very creepy!

szehoong February 4th, 2005, 08:23 PM ^^^ Actually the last picture is the MINES Resort not the Palace of the Golden Horses.
ANyway did ya'll know that Sunway Lagoon Resort copied the style of The Palace Of The Lost City right down to the roof details and the entrance sculpture ( at the South African resort is a Cheetah chasing some antelopes while the Malaysian version is a tiger chasing some rusa/kijangs :D ).
The Palace Of The Golden Horses meanwhile din copy the style of the South African resort but by merely hiring the same architect firm thus the final product bears the same architectural elements but of a different style (this time it was moorish & muhgal) so it bear quite a resemblance as well ;)
