I think the collonades were definitely modeled after St Peter's (Kazan cathedral (?) in St. Petersburg did the same thing)

yeah, roman buildings have always been the idole for other buildings all over europe. nothing bad about that, but the proportions of that one (in naples) are ...strange, aren't they?

The center part seems a bit too heavy. I definitely like the Russian one better.
