Matthieu December 21st, 2004, 02:38 PM 8,5. I like it much more than the Siegestor of Munich. I think they are kinda similar but this one is better.
Kampflamm December 21st, 2004, 02:46 PM I think the Siegestor is pretty much an exact copy of the Constantin Arch in Rome.

To stay in the subject of arch. Have you ever seen the Triumph Arch of Orange and the Porte de Mars?
Kampflamm December 21st, 2004, 02:49 PM No...but I've just looked them up on google. :D

Lol. I like them both. They have this old arch feeling. And still in good condition.

When was it built exactly?
Matthieu January 10th, 2005, 03:00 PM Found it, 312AD for the Constantine Arch. But why is it the original roman arch? The Arch of Augustus is also a Roman arch and was built in 26AD (about).

Kärcher?
gruber January 10th, 2005, 06:33 PM There are many studies about the Costantino Arch. it was probably built many centuries before Costantino and then rebuilt and adpted to the glory of the emperor.
Bender January 10th, 2005, 07:09 PM Kärcher?
