Hello,
I have been becoming more fascinated with New York over the last year, and I had a few questions about parking in the city of New York. I don't know why I'm so curious, I just am. I actually went to New York about a year and a half ago, but this was before I was as interested in the place, so I don't remember too many specifics.

In Manhattan, are there ANY surface level parking lots? How much parking would you say there is in Manhattan outside of street parking (structures, underground). Does anybody have any pictures of these kind of places? Any answers would be appreciated!

There's a fair amount of (usually quite expensive) garages, but very little surface parking. It does exist, however, particularly in areas like NoHo and the East Village (i.e. places without a ton of skyscrapers. They're usually very small lots (I've never seen one that takes up a whole block), and often have lifts to double-stack cars.

If I were to go to a Knicks game what would be the best way to go about parking and keep it under say $15?

Same for a Yankee game?

I'm pretty sure the MSG has it's own parking lot, but I've never used it.
As for the Yankee stadium, I'm not into baseball, so same answer.
But I'm sure it's under 15 bucks
