Hier ein paar Beispiele (alle (c)Wien.gv.at):

Thanks, Norbb. I hope you won´ t take it wrong, when I answer in English.
Danke, Norbb! Ich hoffe, du nimmst nicht übel, wenn ich im Englisch shreibe:
So from the Bratislava side the northern bypass Marchegg-Devinska Nova Ves - the first part Stupava bypass should start next year with a completition period of 2007. Also the lower northern Bratislava bypass is nearer the real construction. The upper northern bypass should so far incompass the tunnel under the Male Karpaty mountains in the lenghth of cca. 10 km. However, the construction like this will require more time and money, therefore it is most probable after 2010. But the study of Kittsee-Jarovce highway/expressway up to Bernolakovo has been elaborated this year, including the layout up to Samorin.
And, construction works of 3,9 km D1 highway section near the Danube should be completed as planned in May 2005. By the way, construction works on A6 highway started this month, congratulations :)

Interesting to see what is happening in Slovakia concerning motorways. I am especially interested in the tunnel at Male Karpaty. 10km is not that short at all!
I am glad A6 finally started but it is not the ideal solution. The route uses the already heavy congested A4 around Schwechat. I remember plans of a direct route north of the Danube but I guess they have been abandoned due to costs - after all they save many km´s by using existant A4.
Excactly the same thing happened with the A3: coming from Sopron it was planned to build it up to Vienna but instead it was connected to A2 at Traiskirchen (now 143.500 cars/day). :bash:

Well, the plans for the Slovakia motorways are fine, the Ministry of Transport promised to complete the highway junction between Bratislava and Kosice in 2010 and there are tough discussions about the sections priorities and financing. I hope this is not a vague promise. It seems, that PPP system will be used for the most troubled sections in the north: section Zilina-Ruzomberok. Maybe this web helps also:http://www.highways.sk
Yes, A6 might be not an ideal solution, because it is not the direct route between Vienna and Bratislava. The direction north of the Danube might be fine, but probably from the reason of protests by environmentalists and local people, who are afraid of loosing their appartments this solution was not approved - the outcome should be in Devin and from this location it is about 9 km to the centre and the route will be going through the steeped section near the Danube. Maybe the solution should be the estacades on Bratislava section, or the tunnel in the near of Hainburg. But anyhow, it is fine, that A6 has started, it could very much improve the road traffic connection :)
And 143.500 cars/day is really impressive number, honestly, in Bratislava it is around 60.000 and 80.000,- cars/day, mostly on D1 section Pristavny most-Letisko /cca. 7 km/.
Good map, also the bridges accross March/Morava river will be constructed and really, I didn´t know about the B8 section from Angern to Senec.
Regarding the tunnel under Male Karpaty I will see, what can I find and will provide you with the more detailed information.

So, actually, Norbb, after searching, in available Internet sources I did not found the pictures for Male Karpaty tunnel, but let me just post the links, maybe this will give at least the idea, that the plans are on the way:
Link to general development plan of Bratislava region: http://www.lifeenv.gov.sk/minis/legislativa/20_2003.pdf-part 5.9.12. and a link to planned R8 expressway www.motorways-exitlists.com/Europe/SK/r8.htm
Well, I hope, that this tunnel will be constructed and will not stay just in the planning stage.
