and yes there are lots of, especially in the marina

could it be another damas tower, as its inside the same construction boards?

is it rite behind damas tower? if it is then maybe its the parking lot?? i dunno just suggestions or maybe it is another tower. what about the middle east foundations tower on szr no board. y dont u ask the workers wat it is??

it's next to damas, NOT behind
and i have never seen a parking lot with such massive foundations
this piling work is typical for new towers

all towers on szr are very close to each other, and this one has average distance to damas, maybe 12m

towers under construction without sign boards are often found in dubai
and the last thing they will do would be to build a car park in the first row, there's so much space behind the towers and it would be the first car park in front row

so this definitely is a new tower

The foundation is pretty massive. Not something for a 25 floor tower I would say.

As Michiel and other said, this isn't a ordinary tower, judging by the site it might be a, close to 200 meters or even more, tower.

The blue plastic is covering the pillar caps, same as on bright Star Tower pictures taken by Krazy on late December - early January.

Hope the work will start soon and a board will be installed.

the hole is not as deep as for rose rotana for example, but it has to be a 200m tower
the size of the hole is as huge as the one of damas tower!

It seamed like the white foam that is used in packing. The concrete plate was covered in plastic and maybe those blocks were used to keep it in place while not putting pressure on the just poured concrete.

Finally a Liebherr yellow crane is UP at the site.

^ Piling and the raft foundation is compleated weeks ago. It is definitelly a tower becouse you can see what seams to be the places where the pillars will rise.

^ No signboard yet but to complicate the mater even further: the boarding around DAMAS tower is being expanded on the oth other side and within that aerea is enogh place for a THIRD tower.

There were some huge metal bars sceletons erected yesterday, propably for the pillars. Finally is raising and hopefully will have some info soon.

i dont know. The foundations in dubai are never a good indicator of what the height could be ?

its above the height of te boards, now. odd that its all part of the same site though.

From the pillar-will-be it is a tower, you can clearly see the density on the central core aerea and also the side structural pillars-will-be.

I say "pillars-will-be" becouse only the metal beams sceletons are up now, the concrete isn't poured yet, at least not till the part visible from above the confinement board.

so it will rise in a few weeks?...and they haven't made any announcements since that...
now that sucks i would say.

Both tower's have small window's next to the corner that start at the exact same hight, when we get another 4 floors this will be almost confirmed as a twin.

Cladding has started here. The tiles are light wheat beige colour. Glass panels, which instalation started more then 2 weeks ago, are identical to those of Damas 1.

I still wonder if these two will be considered twin towers, or just identical ones. It should the later and they should be considered 2 towers, since they are totally separated and not connected at all ... unless they do something on the ground level.

I estimate the height on top of the pinnacle to be 210 meters around.

The top of tower 1 already looks pretty dirty. I wonder if they have a plan to clean that part. It doesn't look like there's a boom up that high.

Even if these are very similar to the Chelsea tower across the street, I think that these two are much better considering that they are twins and have slightly better facades and roof features. Never thought I'd say this, but well done Damac. Now get moving on Lotus Heights, Park Towers, Damac Heights, etc. and people may start taking you as a serious and reputable developer.

Futuristic, majestetic, aesthetic. Highly valuable addition to the SZR skyline!

Judging from the speed, I feel pity for that sole worker on that tower. He must feel lonely, being alone on the site. Unless of course he is not alone, and they are just being a bunch of lazy bastards, which is why it's taking them almost six months to finish the top part!

The towers look good, nonetheless.

They are slacking off. Just compare this to Rose Rottana.

I like these towers... just about done too, right? The facade does look very good and they are another excellent addition to SZR.

arent these two a near exact copy of Chelsea Tower, just across the road?
