Well sometimes the quality lies not in the capability of the photograph but more in the imagination. You say anybody can do this, well then I would have to ask, why haven't I seen a dozen similar pictures? Or to put it in perspective, there's a Dutch painter called Piet Mondriaan, and his artwork is pretty much just colored lines. They are worth multiple of millions though. But at the time he made those paintings, they were revolutionary and unique. A bit of an overcast example, but it gives a decent enough illustration I'd say ;)
