worst buildings..
Sheraton Saigon
skynet126 January 1st, 2005, 08:48 PM Ho-chi-Minh Mousoleum Hanoi, I hate thid building the most. The building look kind of cold like a person :). If I was the governor, man i reaped that building down a long time ago. Ho Chi Minh did really save the Vietnamese from the French, but he sacrificed millions of vietnamese peoples, evil bastard.
Saigonese January 1st, 2005, 10:18 PM He didn't sacrifice millions of Vietnamese people. Rather, millions of Vietnamese people sacrificed to free their homeland from foreign domination and achieve independence, an ideal we've cherished for over 2000 years.
skynet126 January 2nd, 2005, 03:54 AM did you really mean he didn't kill any Vietnamese people, not even one, let make the number big. I dare to said that Ho Chi Minh killed at least 100,000 vietnamese people, his own damn people. I guess ur are vietnamese right? If yes go to ur parent and ask how much Ho Chi Minh killed at Tet Mau Than. Ho Chi Minh use to command a force called Viet Minh to overthrown the French, then later that force became Viet Cong. Who was the head general of Vietcong, of course Ho Chi Minh. If you said Vietnamese peolple didn't want to become a part of U.S., and hated the ideas by President Johnson than I would believe it was true. However, you said Ho Chi Minh didn't even killed one Vietnamese, man, I got nothing to said, just go ask ur parents. Controversially, what grade are u in? Do Moi, Le Kha Phieu, Le Duan, aren't those people the Vietnam general back then. Thanks to these so gifted leaders that they had signed a land decree with the chinese government to give the chinese people hundred thousands of ha land just to get a full support from the chinese. One more important thing, what do you mean the vietnam people have cherished this liberation for 2000 years? One thousands years of domination from the chinese, 100 years from the French, and 30 years of damn long rule under the Vietcong. I don't see there is anything the Vietnam people have to cherishes about. if you think that the tsanumi had killed at least 125,000 people now, look at how much vietnam people were being kill when they flourish out of vietnam to find freedom. I think that the number can be no less than 100,000. How can Ho Chi Minh be cherishes for as long as 2000 years when he let 100,000 people die out in the sea, not to include thousands had died when he took over the South. I don't known what so great about that, what so heroism about that? True True he did gain freedom for the vietnamese people under the French rule, but what give him the right to killed thousands of people just because he set them freed. You lucky I am not vietnamese because if I am an overseas Vietnamese, people being kill by Ho Chi Minh, and husband of whom a wife being rape by Thailand pirates when flee for freedom, I would beat the crap out of you. Please no hard feeling, I got no hate against anybody. However, I truly believe that any overseas vietnamese in this forum would agree with me.
SUNNI January 2nd, 2005, 04:10 AM i like the Saigon Centre and the Diamond Plaza Saigon most,,,^^;;

I have something to say about what I know that maybe you don't. In Vietnam, Hanoi always have more priority than Saigon in everything, while in Saigon, there are more advantages and more developments. Because, Saigon is the capital of South Vietnam 30 years ago...
Hu hu, my love city.... hu hu... It's unfair.
Saigonese January 3rd, 2005, 10:22 PM I love Hotel de Ville and Diamond Plaza.
RafflesCity January 4th, 2005, 07:37 PM Saigon Trade Centre is lovely, but I really like the historical architecture there :cool:
tq January 4th, 2005, 08:34 PM Actually...I don´t like the Saigon Trade Centre, it looks luxery but also poor and cheap.
lovesaigon January 6th, 2005, 07:31 PM Yep, you're right, but it's not as cheap and poor as Melia and Vincom City Towers. Got it?
Chad January 7th, 2005, 10:13 AM I like Diamond Plaza, looks a bit representing Siegel's style..:)
