The transatlantic crossing was extremely short, taking less than 6 hours as the airplane flew at over 1000 km/h for most of the flight due to prevailing winds.

Although there was a slight delay in landing at Heathrow due to congestion, the flight landed earlier than scheduled.

It has been very cold the past few weeks (deep freeze), but all the sudden it has gotten warmer and pretty much all the snow has melted!

It was about -7C at the time I left Pearson airport, so it wasn't that cold compared to the -20C a few days before.

I really like this photo! I don't know why, but the 747-400 looks intimidated by the snow and frigid weather.
