How about the Polish forumers pay respect to the city, and write its name how its supposed to be said in the Ukrainian language. Lviv. L-vee-v.

Hate to break it to you but Lviv is part of a country called Ukraine. Built by a lot of people, not just Poles. Stop acting like Poland owns the city, it controlled it once. But not anymore.

Yeah i know that its in Ukraine, but for centuries was Polish city. Dont you think that only because of this we have right to write Lwów ?
You have the city, be happy, because it is one of the nicest in Ukraine, let us to use at least Polish name of the city

I can't stop you from doing anything. I am just asking. The name of the city is Lviv in Ukrainian. You are supposed to say someone's name like the person says it, same goes for a city.

Oh wow, are u that insecure? Are u that paranoid that you can't stand when Polish ppl say Lwow? The city was Polish for a long time, u can try to hid it by saying Lviv all u want, it wont change history or the facts. Just be proud that the city was so diverse and many culture helped to build it instead of just pretending that it's a Ukrainian city. Polish people never have chills when someone calls Gdansk Danzig or Wroclaw Breslau or Szczecin Stettin. We accept that those cities have a diverse history, and they belonged to other countries in the past.

I understand that since Ukraine is a young country you tend to be over nationalistic and still shaping your identity as a nation. Polish ppl have a strong national identiy, and maybe thats the thing. Not trying to bash u here, but your being childish about it.

Btw...7.5 from me.

Ukraine the country is young in the modern sense, but the Ukrainian culture and language are old... many centuries old. And the reason people are so sensitive to the way the Ukrainian cities are named is because Ukrainians had to fight to use their language, and are still struggling to get it back in some areas. This is also apparent with Kyiv/Kiev and Kharkiv/Kharkov as well as many others. L'viv was a polish city for a while(it wasn't always one), but it is completely surrounded by Ukrainian countryside... It was like an Polish Island.

And ever since the Soviet Union Lviv has been a centre of Ukrainian Nationalism. Plus the Eagle's Cemetery was recently re-opened, and relations between Poland and Ukraine are on a high :), so let's just be happy about that.
