With a cost of 700 million dollars, Chacao Bridge is going to be built to unify the Chiloe island with the continental territory.
Actually, only a tranbordator system works to carry the people and cars through the Chacao Channel.
The Bridge is 2135 metres long and it's going to be built by a German company, the only company that was interested in the bridge.
The construction will begin in 2007, and it will be finished in 2012
