Is this just me or did the whole format and background get messed up and there is all the HTML at the top of every page?

One thing I have noticed (if minor) is that it used to tell you how many people were online and how many people were on certain forums.. this has since gone.. well for me at least, any reasons for it being taken off?

It's an option Jan's working with to try and spare server capacity and bandwith. Ever since the change, it looks the site has been faster and smoother too.

I thought it may have been to speed things up, thats ok if it is.. I was just used to it, lol.
