Things I learned while taking pictures in Downtown Miami:

1. You cannot take pictures from Government Station. It is Federal Property. Security guards will view every picture on your LCD and make you delete every picture with a government building.

2. There is only one observation deck in the whole city. You have to speak with a really rude security director at the Wachovia Tower who will only deny you access to the 55th story to take pictures.

3. If you want really cool shots, go to the Hotel Intercontinental and pay a maid $5 and beg to go into a penthouse suite and take pictures from the 36th floor.

good tips true true, just walk across the street and take pics of the building lol,

tho barfont park u can get some nice ones, and rite off the street, but those angles r no good, also on the bay on a a boat or on the river, but yet again, that upward angle, well figure something out

we really do need a decent observation deck, i didnt even no there was one, its in wachovia, how do i get into it?

we dont really have enough of a downtown yet to fully justify a major observation deck, i mean, think sears tower in chicago or formerly the south tower of the world trade center, we cant hold up to that

unless u become a member of the miami club and pay big bucks, if ur allowed lol

we need an observation tower, i think i'm going to design one when i get a chance in my architecture and drafting class

I'm too lazy to walk lol. I just stop in the middle of the road and take some pictures. Some people don't like it(specially the ones that are behind me) but hey I love Miami .
