i think the scallfolding on teh side is now gone and they are working on the internal strcuture and facade...

Any sign of the 4x8-level Boas development starting anyone? That and Harbour town should make a huge difference to what was once one of the most depressingly-underdeveloped areas in Perth. I note that over half have sold - so presumably construction is assured....

stage 3 of boas is market rise to be exact www.marketrise.com.com and yes its underconstruction, the carpark part, and the towers will be built ontop of it, also harbour town is setting lightning pace, its already about 30-40% complete

i think its signs of the times having big sites like the metro markets being developed, ie that being the biggest central city development site, and the emu brewrey site selling

the facade of the top 3 levels that were added on have been revealed [scafolding removed] looks pretty nice, the bottom part of the building will take some time to complete

Looks as though it will be quite recognisable,not neccesarily because of its height but because of its bright colours.

Perth has some nice older buildings in the West end.I hope new developments go ahead here,but not at the cost of the older stuff:)

that building is as ugly as ever.... seems the only thing they really did to the facade was give it a paint-job...

went past it today, I love it, its bright, colourful and different, certainly not dull

How bout' a pic now that its come out of its shell

they will be opening a cafe on the ground floor, they were talking about opening a cafe fronting wolfe lane [runs next to the tower, recently upgraded by council], hope they choose the lane over fronting murray street, it will be good to see some lane culture develop in perth on the style of london court and shafto lane and the lanes in melbourne

This is exactly what Perth needs more of,higher density living this close to the Malls:)

went past yesterday almost done all the scafolding is done final works are being done on the lobby & the rooms ie. bed being put in, there ground floor cafe/wine bar is being worked on its called bin105 and its a similar design to the code bar and chifley on the terrace
and a further update they have added the neon signage
