As a Chinese people, i feel strongly shame. One of my countryman(may be) say impolite words to Indian and waste many people's time just want show some ugly pictures of Chongqing and break the impression. He has right to say any word but I need say sorry to everyone, even in Chinese forum people have some words about Chongqing and Chengdu people today.
In China, espacially in highschool, student in a huge pressure, the only thing they konw is competition, many students have abnormal lives, and last for about 16 years from grade school to university. IMO, in these pity guys' eyes the only thing important in this world is who is best in the earth. Every Chinese city developing very fast, one city may be twice strong in 5 years, the average level one city become twice strong is 7.3 years, the whole nation(include countryside) need 9 years. Many young man see this thing as students in school, everyone wants his city better, and some foolish man don't care about themselves life even their visualize.

The problem's that China develops in an unprecedented speed, the standard of living improves fast and the country offers more and more to the people. The improvement of the quality of people, however, lags so behind of the economic development, so even if some of the Chinese become rich, their minds still stay poor. It's very hard to let the people improve themselves without the right ethos that should be conducted by education, which you cannot see in classes. With the self-expanding ego, the Chinese would stay in low quality for some other years. It's better to keep you yourself conscious and rational and try to affect the people around you. People with midget minds won't make up a great country.
I feel very glad that more and more Chinese can realize that, that's the very first step to enter into "first world".

I seriously do not know what does the Chengdu-Chongqing fiasco has anything to do with India, but either way, I would love to see less fireballs being fired in any direction, as I would think other level-headed folks will agree with?

i am ashamed to be chinese.....
i don't think so. Some scholars told that China can complete construction about matter in 10 years which other countries need 50 years, but no one know how to complete construction in ideaistic field in 10 years which other nations need 50 years. I am proud of what they said. China use elimination game to accelerate developing, it is helpful for whole nation but some weak man can not endure this, they scold others, have many fantasy, even suicide. IMO what we can do is hlep them, not be ashamed to be one of their countryman.

i think it is in history. India and China rivals in civilization, culture, economy, population, military, influence in there respective regions.

They are rivals? I think that is an exageration. The Himalayas has been a natural barrier preventing the two from actually clashing as much as many other major nation states...the skirmishes over tiny bits of territory is petty compared to that between China, Korea and Japan, for example. Their spheres of influence have also never really antagonised each other, until in recent years, when the issue of Pakistan starts to make things more complicated then they should.
