Today with us is the 15th and this baseball ground header shows up.

Uhm, please. Someone down under will have to do better with an OZ skyline and some bowling or batting action? Please?

Well - an ancient photo of the MCG (pre-GSS I think) did appear as the header image a while back.

something like this would be great. to actually have someone fielding and batting would take this sports theme to the next level. :)

I think the problem is that if you want a photo of that to fit in the banner, you would need to take the picture from ground level, but then the new Northen Stand would block out the skyline. Either that, or you would have to have one hell of a panorama.

It would have been good if this was done in 2003 where there wasn't anything in the way. ie taken about the same time as the pic renell posted - the same shot from that angle today would have a lot less skyline and a lot more of the grandstand.

But there are heaps of other possibilities - it's just hard to see players, the stadium AND the skyline in something the size of the banner.

Eh, no, I'm impartial to OZ cities. As long as the skyline and ground is impressive.
