Just realized you needed image hosting and all that crap. My Proposed lines/ branches are meant to serve gaps of service and major retail/entertainment corridors and destinations. You'll probably notice that evanston has been recoloured white and annexed by the City and That the city's outskirts no longer belong to it this all part of BIG PLAN FOR CHICAGO with many juicy details i hope to share someday! but anyways enjoy! Suburbia is well served by commuter rail through Metra; suburb-to-downtown connections are excellent. rapid transit, on the other hand, is extremely weak. intrasuburban connections are weak in Metra. If anything, I'd love to see CTA use the model of the best city/suburban rapid transit system in the country: DC's Metro. Nothing compares. Only Metro combines NYC's city wide type of connections with BART's metro blanketing of the system. |
