Ahh I did some changes just now I hope you wont kill me after the new names I added.
I think King Saud mosque is the biggest mosque in Jeddah. Do you think there will be any mosque project in Jeddah any soon?

Nice, I see you have a morroccan style mosque. The ones near the sea blend well with the surroundings :).

Allan bey ;). I said the truth and there is no need to thank me at all. In old mosques architectures no body can beat the Turks!

Bahraini Spirit al 3aziz, you are right the King Fahad mosque built to match the Moroccan style. I prayed there once and Mashallah! Very impressive from the inside.

Urban Girl I also love simplicity of an architect and I can observe you love simplicity and nature from the Island and Cornich mosques. Feels very peaceful. Tesekkur ederim abla ;).

Winta 6ayyeb ya '3ali . Min al3aiydin inshallah.

BTW The island, corniche , and Ruwais mosques were all designed by Egyptian architect Abdelwahid alWakil as part of the huge corniche project in the 70s. He was involved in a lot of the prestige projects during the 6afra. But I think these small mosques are his best work. One feature to mention, is that all three mosques utilise passive cooling techniques, lessening the need for air conditioners.
