I went to the Body Worlds exhibit, it was pretty cool. I took my camera and they didn't let me take any pictures of the subjects... so after the show, I went outside and took some pictures of the museums and the gardens... hope you guys like them!

Great Pics Vice. I went to that a couple of months ago and i loved it. cant wait to go to part to in a couple of months. The city has done a great job turning around that area and i can only imagine how it will look once the Expo Rail line is going through there. Plenty of potential for that area around SC and pretty soon it will be linked up with Downtown LA.

Do they even use the Sports Arena for anything anymore? Or the collesium for that matter? I have to get down to those museums again sometime, there's just too many museums on the "must see" list...

By the way, what is that Los Angeles County Historical and Art Museum? I can't find any information about it online. All exposition park websites exclude that museum as well.

I think that was the name before it changed to natural history museum.

That's because most people expect less from LA due to the ignorance propagated by stereotypes, or ironically, the media coming out of LA itself.

Pictures like this don't surprise me at all. LA is quite an amazing global city full of history and culture.

As for the usage of the LA Coliseum and the Sports Arena:

I'm sure you guys are familiar with the proposed return of an NFL franchise to LA...as of right now, the LA Coliseum is the front-runner in that race, as it has submitted a proposal for rennovation which would add luxury boxes and closer seating to the field, while still preserving the historical components of the building. The Rose Bowl is the next closest proposal, but there are concerns about parking and the residential surroundings, plus they haven't been able to satisfy the historical conservationists...

As for the sports arena... the last time a pro team played there was the Clippers before they moved into the Staples Center with the Lakers. It has been used since then for USC sports events, but with USC building its own brand new sports complex, it is unknown whether it will be used in that capacity again...frankly, it is small, outdated, and not very easy on the eyes...

does anyone know of any plans for the Sports Arena?
