In the first picture, you can see the land reclamation extending the shoreline to the left of the pic. Today the extra land houses Marina Centre and the Esplanade theatres and provides room for the downtown expansion.

Familiar landmarks can still be seen like the Raffles Hotel (right), the WW2 memorial (2 white pillars), the dome of the Supreme Court and the Victoria Concert Hall.

The area in front of the skyline is and remains as an open green field for various activities.

In the first pic of my makeshift pano? :D That's One Legaspi, 45 floors 150m. The one in front of Enterprise is Shang Grand Tower, 46 floors, roundabout 165-175m.
