His Toronto project isn't on the market yet....and the Tampa Vegas, Florida and his Riverside projects aren't really his- he's only sold other developers his name and shows up for some publicity. A nice gig if you can get it!

what's this? soleil has a spire? a building with a spire in miami?! well it's about f*cking time. not sure what i think of the design yet but it's really nice to see a thin, vertical structure with lotsa glass & a spire.

as for met3, i really wanna know why in the hell they're advertising 2 different designs. why spend the money to do that? i guess any advertising is a still a good thing, but you'd think they could figure out which building they're marketing. especially if what chuck says is right about it breaking ground in june/july.

btw, i don't know if anyone else saw it but that giant, fold down ad that ballinboi just scanned was also in the herald 2 weeks ago. i just don't get it.

well yesterday in the herald they were advertising both images of met 3 it confused me imagine what it did for a person who doesn't really know anything about the project.

The advertising multiple images would worry me if I was thinking of buying. I would think they need to get there shit together because they dont even know what they are selling or what they are building.

Everglades is the name of that building/buildings, I think they both have the same name.

that building is everglades on the bay but in case you think those funky things on top are cool penthouse units ... they are not part of the building just part of the construction process

Design #1, this is the official design that will be used. Some pictures show it at night all lit up where it looks a different color, but this is THE design of Met 3. Met 2 and Met 1 designs stayed the same but Met 3 was changed a bit from the earlier designs as you can see here.

That looks more like 500 Brickell. Its definitely not Plaza, plaza's balconies are all separate, not one long one per floor like that. 500 is the only one I can think of that has those square balconies with the columns running through them like that.

Can't wait until they start on 600 brickell. Those buildings are going to be a great addition. They are starting on the smaller one first and then the two 68 stories towers. Either way, when it is done it'll be great.

The nice 40-story tower that will break ground tomorrow and the two 903-foot, 68-story twin towers which will be the tallest in Brickell both will make that area even better then it already is, which is pretty good.

500 Brickell, Plaza, and Avenue are all coming along very nicely right now and the area will already see dramatic improvements in the next year or two as those buildings/complexes open.

You are correct, most of these new towers in Panama are reminiscent of the lower Brickell Area, suburban high rises.

That's why northern Brickell is so much nicer than lower Brickell.....because it has urban high-rises instead of suburban high-rises surrounded by parking lots and lawns.

Oh how I HATE suburban high-rises. The only thing they're good for is saving land for the Everglades. Why, oh why! Anything suburban is horrible; the worst thing that could've happened to urban planning, a complete mess.

That Met1 parking pedestal is horrific, how sad. The worst is for the people on the bottom floors of the Wachovia on the south side looking at the monstrosity. :(

Met 1 isn't that great of a building. But it's part of a great complex which includes the very tall Met 3 and the architecturally stunning Met 2. Plus, it's much better than what was occupying that land a few years ago: a parking lot.

MET 3 will get built. Haha. let's have some faith. It'll get built. But it is funny how websites say (DDA) and some others that the MET project was supposed to be done. They were supposed to build MET 3 first, then MET 2 and MET next, and finally MET square. They got a little off the plan. Don't know why they just didn't build MET 3 First.

I was told it will start this year in October, November, or December. I'm not 100% sure Met 3 will be built but I'm pretty confident. They just need to complete Met 1 and move its construction materials off the Met 3 site, and then they will start on it.

Don't know why they just didn't build MET 3 First.
Because then how would they have gotten any units sold in MET1. It's just so plain and boring in comparison, it would have never sold up against those 2. :)

The achilles heel of met3 is the blocked views most people who live there will have no bay view and the few that do see water will have vertical strips of water views not panoramic ones unless of course you're above the 50th floors but that's only a third of the buyers.

On the bright side of things the night city views will be spectacular
