United Bank Tower Proposal - Karachi

Just stumbled on this and thought I would share it.....! very unusual tower design indeed. Looks like there is a tower boom in Karachi, first the MCB tower now this proposal.. nice to see a lot of building activity,proposals.

Nice tower! Does anyone have any updates as to when will project begin? It seems like it takes forever for any projects to take off! Look at KPT tower Karachi - Project never took off and investors bailed out! Now KPT is looking for new investor(s).

the project may begun, and no the investor of KPT tower didnt bail out he was thrown out and they have recived many new offers from other investors.

Thanks Pakboy for the update. Since I haven't seen any updates on KPT tower, I was getting a little apprehensive!

I read about so many upcoming projects/highrises all over Pakistan, but when I ask my friends living in Pakistan, they seem to know a little about these projects like DHI tower in ISB, creek city etc.

Ahed has worked in america with one of the leading architectural firm....[i forgot.....but i will mention it later.....] his experience show a variey in high-rise building design.....
one of his building in Islamabad is the Habib Bank Tower n it iz simply marvelous....

looks interesting but is a little stocky looking. Agree with the rest of the people who said it should be taller. Then it would have better proportions.
